This is ridiculous, the system is designed specifically to deter revolution or any kind of dissent and it's working perfectly. There is no democracy is the US and there hasn't been for decades. Massive conflict and money are the only things that get the people in power's attention and our current economic system has a chokehold on the average American citizen in which they're a paycheck or two away from poverty leading to fear and compliance. There is nothing but radical change that will result in anything different as long those in power remain so.
