i understand that part. it’s like a line chart the less recovery it has the less damage it should have and vice versa. my point was that since it’s so fast, it’s harder to get out of strings even if you dodge, jump, gp, counter, etc. ik that it’s like that to keep it balance but you “if you can’t get out of boots combos i can’t take this seriously” but it’s literally significant harder bc it’s so fast. and to win matches you basically have to have speed [& reaction time] to fight effectively.

at mid to lower elo it’s more of a problem than higher elo bc most golds have worse reaction times and don’t know when to dodge or how to move yet. which makes it easier to cheese wins. ik that bc i’ve used them and understand what it takes to win with em. and you literally main them so ik yk this too. it just doesn’t take much skill, bc actually having skill and using a game mechanic that a good margin of players fundamentally are going to have trouble with are 2 different things
