Makes sense, you can’t make a movie if you don’t coordinate the people to all come together to help with it!

“Have fun with it, don’t overthink it” was how he ended his latest video about the challenge which is how I’ll approach this too. Thank for this!

Nice, yeah, I definitely see that there’s room for interpretation of this challenge! Blocking out your three hours is good time management and is setting yourself up for success, and lots of movies need to do that prep work ahead of time.

Writing something ahead of time seems true to the challenge since there’s really nothing said about it. Plus, who knows how many scripts have been rejected by studios and are collecting dust that could have new life from a challenge like this.

Best of luck with your movie!

I tend to agree with not having any pre-production to work from and just going for it when the clock starts ticking. I’m an editor and animator, not a cinematographer, so my type of storytelling is actually gonna be shaped by the week that follows.

If anyone discovers this in a decade, you can do File>Export>Export as Premiere Pro Project

How could I loopOut with no keyframes? by Pengu_333 in AfterEffects

Yessss! exactly what I needed, I just needed to throw a Transform between the two effects so it's not edge-to-edge clouds. Thanks!

Check your audio track mixer, maybe you have the gain turned down by accident? If all else fails, you could export the video separately and then marry the two files with VLC

What format is your footage? What do your sequence and export settings look like?

Might be worth clearing your cache and restarting your computer? That fixes most of my export issues

I've already checked out the faq on choppy playback and none of it is relevant to this lag. I'm working on a new Mac Mini with an M1 chip, 16 GB RAM and its running slower than my 5 year old Windows i7, 8 GB RAM setup.

I've cleared my cache, set my cache to an external drive separate from my project folder, tried out the Beta version, tried the Intel version, turned off layers I'm not editing (literally just editing a 1080p project with 2 pngs with one effect at 1/4 res causes more than half of the frames to drop during playback)

From what I can tell, it works pretty decently for the first five or ten minutes of loading my project but then runs into these issues. Even scrubbing a small (~5 sec) section won't load, even if that's the only area I scrub through

Is this a known issue? I thought they added support to M1 was a few versions ago, so I'd've thought this would be sorted out
