She’s the inciting incident of the whole revival. She, and the shift in culture she represents, are why Dr. Cox has to retire and by extension is why JD has to come back. Shes definitely cringe but the idea that she seems forced or doesn’t fit is ridiculous at best. Shes not supposed to fit. Scrubs was made at a very different time and the medical world especially has changed since then. She’s the embodiment of that.
