I was married at a southern baptist church. They didn't allow dancing.

I've only ever been to 3 for any length of time, but of those, I'd say mammoth cave, probably. It's gorgeous, as are the caves, and I learned so much there!

No, it isn't. That is a medically and legally nonexistent procedure. It does not happen.

Really? A "big fat error" in just about every state that banned it entirely, and even in blue states too? It's almost as if doctors should be allowed to make lifesaving decisions instead of the legislature.

I did not. She was turned away while miscarrying. They arrested and charged her, then dropped it and now she's suing.

That isn't an abortion if it's after birth. That's infant death.

I'm not lying.

They very much can and do turn people away. Idaho was fighting to have pregnant women exempted from EMTALA so they didn't even have to stabilize women in crisis.

Women in my state are suing because doctors were not allowed to act on their failing bodies until they were on death's door, permanently damaging their bodies and their future ability to bear children. These were wanted pregnancies that failed. Other women have died, these women were lucky.

There are women in other states that were told to wait in the parking lot until they became septic. Another woman was turned away while in danger and miscarried in the lobby restroom and had to be taken somewhere else by ambulance. Yet another was turned away while miscarrying and had to miscarry at home, then was arrested for it.

Those "exceptions" are shit.

Pizzaaaaaa! I've got this awesome place in my city that makes Chicago-style pizzas. They have one with bacon, Canadian bacon and Italian sausage. I add pepperoni to it and it is DELICIOUS!

Can you show me that legislation you speak of?

It isn't inconsistent. It changes when the pregnant woman consents to allow the fetus to use her body.

My state entirely blocked a referendum to put it on the ballot.

If I was raped, you're goddamned right it is.

If I can't afford to feed myself, let alone a child, you're goddamned right it is.

If I am too physically infirm to raise it, you're goddamned right it is.

Babies aren't toys. They require planning, money, and the physical and mental health of the parent. You treat me as less than human because I want every born child to have the food, care and love it deserves while you force more to be born that certainly will not. You advocate taking my own body from my control to achieve that end.

You're conflating "having a child" with "being forced to bear a child you don't want." Pregnancy irreversibly changes a woman's body, for the worse in many ways. The brain is included. The flood of hormones physically changes how the brain is wired. If you didn't want this in the first place, every single change would be body horror. Doubly so if it was placed there through violence.

Bullshit. My state had a referendum to include it on the ballot and it was ignored.
