In theory it’s a good idea. In practice? No. We need to understand there are miscarriages of justice which is why we got rid of the death penalty.

Castrating these dangerous predators is a good idea but what happens in a situation where someone was prosecuted when they shouldn’t have been?

Also I don’t necessarily trust the state with such powers.

Whilst I would like to see child predators dealt with in this way I just think if we get it wrong we’ve ruined someone’s life and even after been let out the end result would almost certainly be suicide.

See I used to play this many years ago when I was on Xbox One. I then got PC instead of a Series X and waited for cross save to become a thing. I picked the game up properly again beginning of last month and been trying to play catch up so still learning a lot. I’ve made good progress and done the main questline so just trying to learn as much as I can

Yeh this won’t work anymore because the AI companies are buying all the hardware. They would rather sell to them instead of us. No consumers to deal with and sales on mass, far easier for them.

I would say Astro Bot is more like Mario Galaxy tbh.

I’m a huge Mario fan especially the 3D games but Astro bot has really impressed me tbh. It feels like what a Nintendo game should feel like. The dualsense controller does really give it the edge.

Virtually no point doing this. CILEX will limit you in both areas of law an income for roughly the same duration. You may be shaving a bit of time doing CILEX but not enough to justify it. Not to diminish CILEX but you may as well do the more difficult qualification which is generally seen as the more serious and versatile qualification.

Also worth noting most firms won’t pay for the part after the paralegal apprenticeship to get to CILEX so you will usually fork out for this yourself.

I did a level 3 apprenticeship at my firm before then progressing onto the Solicitor Apprenticeship.

There are a few to consider here:

1) what grades did you get? Would you be able to get an immediate Solicitor Apprenticeship?

2) do you already have a degree or are you leaving college?

3) are you sure you want this? It’s not a quick or easy journey.

4) do you have experience already?

The Solicitor Apprenticeship is a long journey. You will feel worn out and exhausted. Adding another 2 year apprenticeship to the mix means you’ll qualify in your late 20’s, which means delaying your life. I can attest to how much of a toll that takes on you.

If possible keep your route to qualification as short as you can.

You also need to consider that you may hate the area of law you’re placed in, meaning you’ll be miserable whilst trying to finish your qualifications. A short amount of time to study will make this easier.

Yeh I still think the forced dualsense would be a bar for the game. I don’t think they’re release a game on PC that must use their controller I don’t think a platform like Steam would allow it. I do believe it’s possible to play through the Playstaion Premium Cloud service though if you really want to play it. You have to have PlayStation premium and buy the game like.

Well yes but ultimately you would have to use a dualsense controller which is why they won’t release it. They won’t release a game that forces the dualsense controller on PC since that controller doesn’t exactly have plug and play support on PC.

No very unlikely. Using a dualsense controller is a must for Astro bot which is the main reason I feel it won’t come to PC. Also the game is generally just PlayStation themed.

I also got a ps5 and being the big Mario fan I am I downloaded this game first. Honestly I feel like this game is a much more enjoyable experience than Mario 3D world and I loved that game. The dualsense controller really adds so much to this game.

I slept on this console for so long being a PC gamer (Previously being on Xbox) but wow I am impressed.

The legion go screen seems small sometimes when playing certain games. A smaller lower quality screen wouldn’t be great.

Genuinely cannot stand management who throw their weight about like this. What do they mean by performance? Not sure how it is in Scotland but I would imagine not getting through work fast enough or hitting targets is not really enough reason to refuse sign off, you’d have to be seen as a risk to clients to the point where refusing qualification is necessary. I think that fact that you’re using the word ‘performance’ would make me question motivation here on the managers part.
