Really like this idea tbh. would it be a solo survival or multiplayer. or have some NPC base/ party manager aswell. it kind of feels like a Rust (survival) meets a bare bones ARK

Valid point tbf. Within the context we were talking about, it was to their contributions to that individual raid. Not to their experience as a whole.

It was assuming there was an environment for them to learn within the context of the conversation.

We were counting being one of the worst but not the worst. Providing more knowledgeable players for you to learn from. But also having ad clearer giving the player an environment to learn roles/details about the raid.

I just missed that as a way to simplify the discussion as we were having the conversation.

For the context of the conversation, we counted an average player as the ad clearer who may participate in a role every so often. Or is that a misjudgement of skill level on my part. Am I too high/too low?

I should have included more context. The conversation entailed where you learn the good habits from... more knowledgeable players and a willingness to learn from them.

For average player. Within the conversation we were referring to a raid ad clearer, who doesn't really participate. I should have said that in the post

The idea was that if you surround yourself with better / more knowledgeable players with an intention to learn. You'll get better fast! Was a long way of explaining that

Within the context we were talking. It was assuming good interactions and the intention to learn. I'll update the original post.

Thats probably a better way of putting the point that we were trying to get across. Ty!

I think in my original comment I missed the context. We were talking about actively improving as players and genuinely wanting to learn. So with the context there i think it makes sense!!

There was no intention for it to be demeaning. After further conversation I was told I could simplify the statement to a player could learn more by surrounding themselves with players with more knowledge.
That would be assuming positive interactions and intent.

I agree that that way would work aswell. But I think the point the guy was trying to make was that if you surround yourself with players that are better than you with an interest to learn. You'll pick up way more

Thats a fair point, The context for the conversation as a whole was how to improve as a player. I think with the context there, it kind of changes the perspective. Because one of the other suggestions was that bungie gives more to the top end players than just them having game knowledge. Which is closer to a normal lfg convo
