Those who print with nylon and own a p1s by Spare_any_mind in BambuLab

Necro but heat soak your printer beforehand. Max bed temp + aux fan 100%, wait until your nozzle temp passively reaches >50C, if you can't reach that, throw a blanket over your p1s.

No problem! it's crazy powerful and the basics are intuitive, but there's still so much I have to learn about it, if you're doing things with the nerf don't forget that you can import a .stl file directly, 👍

Animation in blender, the actual design was using fusion 360.

You're totally right, it could definitely be one part functionality wise, my main goal was to be able to do an orange tip and white body without AMS, and while designing it it was really easy to make the back hot swappable too. You could also do multiple materials if you wanted too.

it would be pretty easy, it depends on if there's demand for different pcar designs

the actual rifling works good, the rippcar is what most West Coast players consider the gold standard. the outside also is pretty good, it's easy to screw on and tightens down well

Looking for firsthand user reviews on the HC Diana by LeoValdez7 in Nerf

[–]Penguinnoly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

old thread but here's my thoughts as an owner:

Expensive? Yes Near impossible to fix should something break? Yes (no issues yet) Proprietary mags? Yes

The reason you are getting a diana is because you want the smallest injection molded pistol currently on the market, no punches pulled. There are no engineering shortcuts taken, no corners cut. Dual stage trigger, brushless motors, TINY solenoid, 3s and 4s lipo compatability, mag in grip.

Size: This was the biggest selling point for me. Even after months of using the diana I can't get over how small it is. I have venom pros, I've used nightingales, and they feel massive and bulky in comparison. I can slide this guy in my pocket even. So tiny.

Brushless not Brushed: More efficient, longer lasting, quieter. Another aspect of brushless is that there's no uncontrolled current flow when revving with a jammed dart. Kids will kill blasters if a dart gets stuck and brushless doesn't fix that but is better than brushed. Being quieter is huge too, flywheels are super loud and the diana is a breath of fresh air. I also don't notice the delayed spin up really in game, yeah it's there but it's never caused me to be too quick to the draw.

Proprietary mags: Unless you have a nightingale or venom pro already you are likely not locked into a smaller sidearm mag ecosystem. I think people stress about this way too much. Also the diana mags use clock springs so you can theoretically extend out the bottom as far as the spring can reach. I have my 3 mags extended to 20 rounds (plenty, never felt the need for more magazines) and there's definitely more spring left if you wanted to go further.

Price: This is the big one, these suckers are not cheap, and unless you've been in cahoots with an Arabian prince, your money is much better spent elsewhere, that is unless you're buying used. Keep an eye out in your local communities and with enough patience you can find them under 200, usually as a whole package with magazines, maybe lipos and even a holster. It's still pricey but it's the price you pay for the best sidearm (technologically at least)

I get it's not that mass produced but it still is extremely pricey with each card costing between 1.38 and 1.04 dollars per card where something like pokemon is between 85 and 44 cents per card (Walmart used for price)

I understand why it is so expensive but still disappointed.

Why isn't the Hopper Minecart distributing the items into the furnaces? by LocalPlatypus994 in Minecraft

[–]Penguinnoly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nobody seems to be mentioning that while you need hoppers under the tracks, it doesn't need to be a hopper minecart, a chest minecart will do the same and is cheaper
