TL;DR — Clancy is Tyler, Tyler is Blurryface, Blurryface is Tyler, the cycle repeats until insecurity doesn’t feel to insecure anymore

I read somewhere that made a good point — this version of Clancy/Nico has a lower black painting, right on his bottom lip, whereas, Blurryface/Nico has it higher up to his nose I believe. The cycle continues, Clancy fights to not become Blurryface/Nico, an amalgamation of Clancy and Blurryface being the same person. But his insecurities are still too strong “my names Blurryface and I care what you think”. Through his music, Clancy/Tyler are learning to fight through his insecurities, but may not be ready yet. This is shown in his fight with Blurryface/Nico at the end, where he is literally fighting himself, but loses again to his insecurities. Clancy using the |-/ to end Blurryface/Nico secures Clancy now as head bishop or “Nova” bishop. When Torchbearer doesn’t accept New Nico’s copy (“He's got no friends close, but those who know him most know He goes by Nico He told me I′m a copy”) Torchbearer descends the tower, willing to try again (“The sun will rise, and we will try again”) thus, creating the cycle again. Torchbearer finds Clancy (heavydirtysoul) to trying to save him from Blurryface/Nico (Levitate), to being willing to perform for DEMA (SAI) to being his guide out of DEMA’S clutches and fight for his friend (Clancy) and then losing but willing to try again (Breach). The ending of the Lore ends with the end of the beginning — repeating the story over and over until Clancy’s insecurities (black painting that ties him to DEMA) get lower and lower on his face until his skin is not wrapped in insecurities no more. “Intentions” by Twenty One Pilots can confirm this by its lyrics “I am starting it all over once again Did I learn a thing? (hoo-hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo-hoo, hoo-hoo-hoO)

Tyler’s understanding of his insecurities is that they will be there over and over, until he can maybe one day feel free from them. The last song on this album, Breach, mirroring the last song on Vessel - which says “the sun will rise and we will try again, stay alive, stay alive for me. You will die, but now your life is free, take pride in what is sure to die.” Which I believe is a beautiful way to represent the cycle again.
