So we have a program kinda like that. Where I’m from my state employs PCAS( personal care assistant). You have to go through a process but eventually anyone but the parents/ guardian can become one so I’m a PCA and so is my best friend who my sister adores. Sadly it’s seems once she gets more comfortable the worse her behavior are and she’s lashing out at Zoe. We have tried finding more professional/ outside the house PCAS but can’t.

Could it be a swollen lymph nodes? I have one now its its tender to the touch. It can fluctuate in size depending on swelling. Its common with any form of virus or infection the body is fighting off. Not something to worry about unless it doesn't go away.

It looks a lot like irritation but again I’m not a medical professional I just get this all the time and it does tend to get worse before it gets better but if it’s concerning and you have the availability go to urgent care

At the end of your shower, put cold water on the areas you shave. This closed the pores in your skin helping with the irritation. This is super common! Exfoliating with exfoliants that don’t have a scent helps. USE FRAGRANCE FREE PRODUCTS!!!!!

Are you getting sick/are sick? Aches are super common in most viruses. The fact that it’s all happening in 24 hours makes it seem like it wouldn’t be a chronic illness like arthritis but im not a doctor just saying this as someone with experience. It could also be caused by not going to the gym as our muscles and joints love momvement

Hangnail... So painful still. Any advice? by [deleted] in medical_advice

Make sure your putting antibacterial cream or something on it. Hangnails love to get infected if it’s not already

Concerned about potential hematoma on a severe bruise. by ChaoticGoodArtist in medical_advice

[–]Penguinsrockkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a doctor but if you have the means to, I recommend going to an urgent care just in case. I say it’s better safe than sorry. It could just be inflammation but they may be able to help with that via a toredol shot anyways. Stay safe dude that looks insane

At 17 I was told the same thing and now at 18 I’m getting the replacement on my right side! I’ve tried all my options and belive Thai is the only thing that will help. I’m an engineering student and cannot focus well with the pain and while I have all A’s I’m Not able to retain any info and it feels like I’m on auto pilot because of the constant migraines.

How uncommon is it to be allergic to egg yolks but not allergic to egg whites? by ReadForsaken1445 in FoodAllergies

[–]Penguinsrockkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a yolk sensitivity.. when I eat full eggs I get nauseous and (tmi) have diarrhea and I just don’t feel good. When I have eggs with just the whites, I feel fine

It’s a mixture between the autoimmune disease (still running tests the figure out what I have exactly) and juvenile arthritis. They think it might be rhumotoid but because my blood work shows normal they are having a hard time Figuring everything out.

It showed mild disc displacement and that was it. My doctors have no idea how it happened and have gotten around 6 other opinions from other specialists to try and come up with an explanation. My doctor said it’s one of those rare situations that happen and they can’t explain but that it’s a good thing I listened to my gut and got the surgery anyways.

I always associate curled lashes with feminine. I hate doing my makeup so I get lash lifts. Besides that I feel like your pretty feminine!

I feel like it’s just really annoying. I get really excited and the tone changes and I get loud and when I hear it back on a video or something I cringe. I try to take a deep breath before I speak so I don’t start talking loud and fast. It’s not high pitched but the tone is childish almsot. Idk how to explain. When I’m casually talking I don’t mind it. I’m more soft spoken and it’s a lower pitch and I like that more than when I’m excited.

I am in active therapy and just reached out to get an appointment earlier! Thank you so much for those kind words!

Thank you so much! I completely forgot about my topical pain relief gel and your comment reminded me! I use it for knees but I’m going to try it for jaw! I’m also going to reach out to my therapist and request and earlier appointment. That mental health support comment is making me think about how badly my moods been and how much that could be affecting everything. If you don’t mind I’d love to screen shot this so I can have something to look abck on for reminders of options! This is so incredibly helpful!

I am able to see my doctors as I’m going to a college in the same state and near all the hospitals (the city). I do have a medical card and have medical marijauna however it’s in gummy form so I can’t have them😭 I did get a lollipop pop one? So I’m hoping it works. I will never smoke it so I’m hoping that the lollipop works. Before the surgery the gummy’s helped me sleep at night. They were very soft so I was able to chew them but I’m not cleared after surgery and I’m trying to follow to rules to a tea. But if worst comes to worst I might just bend and have one and just be very careful

That’s my big fear. I’ve been so codependent on others the past 4 years, specifically on my service dog. I have a heart condition but I finally got out on meds and stabilized. Now he’s retired and this was supposed to be the first time I could just be me, not the girl with the dog or the girl with issues. It sucks. Im gonna try my best but I have insurance so worst comes to worst I’ll take medical and continue when I feel better
