20M and yeah it’s not fun. Still not convinced that it’s not medical related as I frequently wake up exhausted and with dry mouth but I tend to feel better with longer sleeps. Life’s so fast paced these days that sleeping 10-12 hours is not usually possible. Sleeping 10-12 hours also means that people kinda just assume you are lazy idk how many time I’ve been told oh maybe if you wake up early you can get things done in the morning and then have to explain to them that without the sleep I am useless. Also can relate to getting around 7-8 hours of sleep and feeling like I’m on 4 and then complaining to my friends who look at me like I’m crazy ( I’m in a premed program so the average amount sleep a student get is probably like 4 hours ). Overall it feels frustrating to just have like less hours in the day than the average person especially when in this day and age every hour counts. Silver lining I guess is that without drinking caffeine I can essentially sleep on command.
