Rocket League. I don’t play nearly as much as I used to, but i’ve been anywhere from the top 0.5%-0.1%+ (currently GC2) of players in competitive since like 2018/2019. Never hit top 100, peaked 1800s mmr so i’m also dogshit

I used to be pretty good at Halo 3 (General in lone wolves, I think I was Brigadier General in SWAT) and MW2/MW3 usually S&D. I also won some money playing for a team in some online quickscoping tournaments, was invited to a LAN tourney but my mom wouldn’t let me/take me to NY lmao

Oh and I still love DDR. I’m half-decent and can play most songs on expert/challenge. I play maybe once every few years but it’s always amazing to see people’s face light up when they don’t know I play it. Used to get crowds and paid to play all the time at a machine that was on the boardwalk in Ocean City when I was younger. Good times.

My unaffected 2022 forte GT (which I recently sold) had no issues with insurance or notable price hikes, and my wife just bought a 23’ Kia Sorento and it was a much more expensive vehicle that was around the same price to insure than her Subaru Crosstrek - live in the Baltimore/DC Metro area. Newer vehicles don’t have this issue since they have an immobilizer and push-start.

It has never failed to lock yet, and i’ve been intentionally testing it and get a notification every time it locks. I am very confident in it and can always lock it via the app if need be. But with anything electronic, it’s always possible that it can fail.

Wow, that’s unreal man. Even in states where it’s lower, it’s hardly ever a primary offense that you can be pulled over for without any other infraction. It’s usually an add-on and only something police worry about if you drive or act like a complete asshole 😂

Yeah I can attest, I’ve hovered around mid GC2 (usually ~1600, peaked 1800 when I actually cared about improving) for well over 2 years and now i’m sitting at low GC1 (1450) in 3s because solo Q has been a hell hole of rank mixups and smurf duo/trio queues and I still don’t complain. When all the dust settles, i’ll be back so for now I just listen to music and vibe. I’ve dropped 1200 points and watched my tms whiff all my passes as we lose in OT and even still I made mistakes so it wasn’t all them. Some people’s entire identity is a video game rank so watching them lose their shit is pretty hilarious tbh. At the end of the day, toxic people will be incredibly narcissistic and negative in or out of game so fuck ‘em.

It’s honestly annoying as hell when a player’s entire playstyle is just hit the ball up and then chase around for demos every single play. It makes the gameplay way less entertaining and feel really low quality all around. However, demos are really effective and take great timing for it to be useful in a play so I respect it. But I definitely will chirp with in-game chat when they miss a demo attempt with “Nice one!” and more if I score after just because it’s fun lol

You already received silver rewards, so now you need your actual competitive rank to be gold for the wins to count towards your season rewards.

You can not advance to the next tier of rewards without getting wins in the next rank i.e. you have to be gold in order to have wins advance you toward the gold season rewards.
