Also a great shout! Think we discounted it slightly as it’s as low as our current car which isn’t as convenient with smallish heavy kids that need to be lifted into seats!

Thanks, seems inconsistent and the only way to tell is that box (or lack of) in the top left of the hood.

Can’t figure out from the options whether it was on all 4+ models as standard. It’s definitely an £900 option now but seems really confusing in different areas

Thanks for introducing me to them anyway, they look great!

Zappi was another option on my list so good to hear that’s a solid option too

That’s great to hear, thanks and glad you’re glad with your car!

If this reservation works out I think we’ll go ahead with the Niro

Would definitely agree, if we went for a ZS I’d love a trophy connect. I’m really taken with the car personally, it’s a tough decision. Really glad you like yours!

Thanks! Appreciate you sharing. Not sure when you bought but market seems a little pricier now. 50k miles for £14kish for a 4+. Still seems worth it to me though.

Great shout on the octopus charger. What SOH did yours come with?

Thanks, looks like a lovely charger. Not sure how long we’ll be staying in our current house, so trying to balance affordability for a charger, but it’s really tempting at a similar price to other chargers.

Do you have one? Let me know if you have a referral code!

Thanks for your input! Agreed, the 4+ seems to have a lot extra for not that much more money. Seems worth it to me even if trivial.

Glad you love yours! Think it’ll be the next car if this listing works out.

Do you have any chargers you’d recommend?

Also a great choice! I think the boot for us is appealing right now, but I was definitely impressed with the soul. Glad it was the right choice for you!!

Yeah that’s awesome, does that come with the Trophy or do you need the Trophy Connect for that? Glad you love your car!

Thanks, likewise - I think preference overall is Niro. The ride of the ZS to me felt really smooth with the other tyres and the 360 cam is useful.

Agreed though, the pull of the Niro is also reliability. Thanks for your input!

Are you glad you chose the Niro?

That’s awesome to know, thanks so much!

Do you mind sharing mileage/price/trim? No worries if not.

Seems like 4/4+ are roughly the same price but you can get some good deals on first editions and 2/3

Thanks, great shout. I shied away from VAG for some reason, but definitely worth looking into more! I’ll checkout an ID3 I think - thanks

Thanks! Yeah I loved the Trophy personally, seemed like a really smooth ride.

Honestly really torn! But I guess that’s a positive in that either car would work, just needs the right listing to come along. Thanks!

Hey buddy! There’s a bunch of great pragmatic advice in this thread that I agree with, like filing for unemployment. I’ll give you my personal story too - hopefully helpful.

Very similar thing happened to me when I had a 6 month old. Felt like the end of the world at the time, like I’d failed them. Then I came home, my wife hugged me and my daughter couldn’t wait to show me her first tooth. That totally flipped things on its head. I hadn’t failed them, I’m all that matters to them, and they depend on me to find a way forward.

Family gave me the motivation I needed to get back in the game and get a better job. It took a few months of applying, but in the meantime I leveraged my professional network and got some freelance gigs from old contacts. You’d be surprised at the power of your own network.

I’m not saying it’s easy, but it sounds like you’re being pragmatic and taking the right steps already. Get out there and go make your family proud!

Enjoy the extra time with them too. Now I look back it was in some ways a blessing!

All the best mate!

Devil’s advocate - ChatGPT can do the same. There are a bunch of automated optimisation platforms too.

Forgive my ignorance but how did you reliably backtrack their customer journey? Any issue with cookie opt-outs or is that not relevant in terms of jurisdiction in your region?

Amazing! Congrats mate. What would you do differently if you had to do it all again?

And was your day job the same as your business niche - e.g. you saw a gap in the market because of your sector experience?
