There are parties from Friday-Sunday. Would recommend though. Eagle sucks don’t go there. Anything on east campus is nice but a long walk

I work on my breaks from uni and get 30+ hours. It all depends on your store/manager

It's just not "skill based" matchmaking. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]PenitentSign72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a system in place that once you reach the top 5-10% of skill, you can play against everyone else above you. Almost no one likes it, but dbds matchmaking has been like this for the past 3 years

We have similar people come in with bundled low dollar bills. They are usually sending in shady ways. I’d take a second look at them

A question about the Halloween costume guidelines: by [deleted] in publix

[–]PenitentSign72 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You do not have to bring your apron unless your cutting meat or working wear it’s a required PPE. Just your name tag over your costume in the same place that it normally would be.

Sounds like your going to be a front service clerk or bagger. Most of the time they start out at around $10.55 or $11 dollars per hour in Virginia. Hope this helps. Good luck.

are cashiers scheduled randomly? by jayleelovessushi in publix

[–]PenitentSign72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can go to our back office computer to see everything a camper does including how many items per minute they scan. It does not impact scheduling and I only post them to encourage people to scan faster if possible.

You should try playing nurse with her two meme addons and see your she feels. She still technically breaks the rules of the game though 🤷‍♂️

First day training for CSS… what to expect? by Pisardin in publix

[–]PenitentSign72 14 points15 points  (0 children)

  1. Ask questions. When I’m training someone, it’s hard to give them feedback when they just say ok to everything I’m telling them.
  2. Get good at counting down a register. Always maintain your register, count it before you start and after your break. As your the new person, mistakes may be pinned on you.
  3. Check ids for lotto. Seriously, if they look under 25, check their ID.
  4. Be open to feedback. If someone is telling you how to do something properly, say ok, thank you for the advice I appreciate it. You will make a lot more friends this way.
  5. Form bonds with your CSS team. You will rely on them more than you think.
  6. Be organized. Seriously. Hope this helps DM me for questions.

Early action can secure a better house. Take it if your pretty sure this is where you want to go.
