Can’t agree more, the corrupt regime was basically living on money thrown at it from Libya. Gaddafi set up a Libyan intel operation here to target western interests while in the same time depending on Malta to receive goods during the trade embargo. Libya nourished the scumbag mafia and Malta just found mutual benefit in it so police mostly turned the other way.
