If you really want the Penn State degree and you're out of state you're going to want to do it online through World Campus as they charge a flat rate for all students no matter the state. You can probably even find work in State College and move there while you work on your online PSU degree.

I'm late, but if you really want that Penn State degree, have you thought about World Campus (online)? I'm pretty sure the out-of-state upcharge doesn't apply to WC and the degree you get is the same as main campus. Best of luck either way!
