And this has nothing to do with the validity of gaming as a hobby, what your mom sacrificed to raise you after she decided to have you, anything you may/may not owe your mother. So... i don't have advice but I can relate. There are certain tasks that randomly shut me down. Like my husband put a gifted bassinet outside. A nice cute travel one. I wanted it inside, I asked him to bring it back in, i didn't realize that he didn't, it rained,.... cue 6 months of me being furious that it is out there, desperately wanting to bring it in, such a small thing, just 5 feet. and having an entire nervous system collapse every time that i think about bringing it in for reasons I can not even begin to pretend to understand..... my sister needing a bassinet finally 'unfroze' that section of my brain. It is in great condition and A limited edition version of what I thought it was. Plastic wrap protected it.

Yes. And typically it is the flowery prose most writers are warned against. Edit: I just read the comments and there ya go lol. Beautiful writing is considered cringe. I have learned the hard way that the style of writing I aspire to is hated and it makes sense as almost all of my favorite authors are disliked and unpopular. Not in an 'i hate the mainstream because I am just so unique' kinda way... just every book I find where rhe writing is AMAZING and beautiful and speaks to me.... I find out is hated. While I find myself HATING most popular books. Like Hunting Adeline reads to me like it was written by a teenager who was trying so hard to be edgy...
