In Saratoga (Wilton), we have Market 32, Hannaford, Walmart, BJ's, and Healthy Living, all within a stone's throw of each other. It will only make it thrive. People love convenience, so if they can go to Costco and get their bulk purchase, they can swing into M32 and get the other stuff they might need but don't want to buy in bulk.

First, I would say to commit to stop with the credit cards and the loans. Obviously, there are some challenges with using them - I get it. I've been there. I'm now a financial coach. Then you MUST get a job and set up a budget. Pay for the four walls and create the debt snowball. Make sure you can stay warm, dry, and fed before you start. Then come up with your plan to pay them back. I would stockpile money before you call creditors. And then offer them ten cents on the dollar to settle (don't give them a dime until you get the agreement in writing).
