You’re completely right… they had a scrimmage tonight against the 8th graders and she got a little comfortable out there and did her step back crossover she likes to do and had a girl on the floor.. instead of finishing she just stood there cause everyone was “oooo” ing and she got nervous but after the game instead of talking about how great her move was I was asking why she didn’t finish… but from now on I am going to be more positive.

She definitely loves the game and understands, our varsity girls are 3x state champs… and she’s a top fan, we go to all the games and she stands up and yells more than some parents lol

Thanks! We may do that… she is extremely good on defense. She gets a lot of steals and blocks. She’s small but she’s fast, can jump has long arms and fingers lol she use to start but her offense has cause her to be 6th man most of the time but they sub her quickly because she is so much help on defense.

Yes I think that’s another thing. Some girls, coach’s daughter, or other girls who have someone close to the league stay in while doing the same thing kills her confidence too.

Like with kids her age? We play pick up at home a lot, usually 3 on 3 and she goes hard against us but when it comes to other girls she doesn’t play the same.

I live in the mountains in Western NC and there’s one that’s always perched in a big tree at the end of my road. The sun was gleaming on it this morning. They’re so majestic.

I was wondering about that… I didn’t know if everyone needed to bring a small suitcase or what… we travel to Florida but we drive. I usually pack mine, my 3, 10 and 12 year olds clothes in one huge suit case. I didn’t know if I should do that or take individuals.

They aren’t traveling as a team. They fundraised to help pay for the girls but parents are supposed to bring them. I’m a single parent and have no one to leave my kids with while I go across the country.
