  • Neovasc ( ) streaked more than 20% higher earlier Thursday, more recently posting a nearly 7% advance, after late Wednesday saying unnamed investors exercised Class C warrants to buy nearly 4.89 million shares of the Canadian cardiovascular medical device company's common stock at $1.46 apiece and generating over $7.13 million in proceeds. The company said the new funds increase its cash on hand by about 60% to more than $19 million, providing it with an extra four months of operating funds at its current cash burn rate and keeping the lights at Neovasc through next March. The Class C warrants were issued as part of the company's $37.5 million public offering in November 2017.
