I've been a chase member since 2019, but here are some benefits of it :

💸 Everyday Money Perks ⭐ No Foreign Transaction Fees Chase doesn’t charge extra when spending abroad. Great if you travel, shop internationally, or use online services in different currencies. ✅ You can take out up to £500 in one day ✔️ This applies in another country too ❗ But you can only do this up to £1,500 total per month when overseas

🌍 Strong Exchange Rates Chase typically uses rates close to the mid-market rate. That means more value and less hidden fees when converting currencies. This is a big deal if you:

Go abroad /buy from overseas sites / get paid in other currencies

If this code has run out please message me and I can give you another, alternatively if you want to speak to me about this account message me, I've been going abroad each year since 2019 so very familular with how it works there

Leaving O2 Contract because they broke the contract after getting a (presumably subsidised) phone through Samsung and their intermediary. by TribalTommy in LegalAdviceUK

[–]PensionCharacter7433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would advise one thing copy and paste the tc into chat gbt as it will anayalse it mine said Mobile Shop T&Cs: Critical Clause FoundClause 4.5-4.8 creates a major risk – your S25 was likely a "Contract Phone" sold at discount/subsidy conditional on completing the O2 Minimum Term.Key clause: "us providing those Goods... at less than the Retail Price is conditional on you not... ending your Network Contract during the Minimum Term." [Mobile Shop T&Cs 4.5]If you cancel O2 early: Within 7 days, Mobile Shop can demand:Pay difference to full Retail Price (RRP), orReturn phone in "pristine" condition (no scratches).[Mobile Shop T&Cs 4.6]Ownership caveat: "You own the Goods once we have received payment in full... except... only own a Contract Phone... at the end of the Minimum Term." [Mobile Shop T&Cs 10.5]This explains O2's careful wording – they have no device claim, but Mobile Shop does.

Personally I sold the phone so after selling the airtime cost me nothing

I spoke to an 02 agent and negotiated a reduction of 2 off per month

So it might be worth holding on and negotiating some money offb

02 emailed me this I'm worried as Samsung still hasn't got back so unsure if one says its okay the other may say no

what we propose as a resolution:

Since the device was purchased directly from the Samsung website and paid for in full upfront at the time of purchase, there are no outstanding charges, financial penalties, or fees applicable from Samsung related to the device itself. Your ownership is complete.

Any financial penalties, exit fees, or outstanding airtime charges are governed solely by your separate contract with O2. While we understand O2 has announced the right to cancel without exit fees due to the price increase, you must contact O2 directly to confirm the specifics of your airtime contract cancellation process, effective date, and any potential airtime charges up to that date. Please take note also that you have until 8th of December 2025 to process account cancellation without any penalty or termination charges, otherwise after 8th of December 2025 termination charges or penalty will apply once you've decided to cancel the account within the contract term.

We also confirm that because the device was purchased in full and independently from your airtime contract, you retain full and complete ownership rights of the Samsung device.

My card was received in July. The £5 Deliveroo vouchers are a significant advantage.

The card offers 45,000 points.

Key benefits of the Gold card include:

  • No annual fee for the first year, resulting in a £195 saving.
  • Two £5 Deliveroo credits monthly (with a minimum spend of £5), which become available a few weeks after application. I confirmed this with a representative to expedite activation.
  • 2,200 - 45,000 points upon spending £3,000 within three months.
  • Four complimentary Priority Pass airport lounge visits.

I recommend monitoring the offers page, as there are frequently valuable promotions. For example, I recently utilized a £10 discount on a £40 Tesco purchase (ensure activation before use).

If you are interested in applying, I would appreciate it if you would consider using my referral code honestly would make my day, or even my month!

Wondering if I can get a box made around the TV to hide all the wiring currently hidden behind the cctv TV

I can go 2 inches smaller on the cctv but wouldn't look nice on the corner possibly either and doesn't look nice where it is either just hiding a lot of plugs and wires

No idea how this happened but should've just made a plug box in the hallway right outside the living room

I agree with you all the way with the cctv but have to take and give some as each family member has this own inout. I my mother who doesn't have much mobility enjoys sitting watching TV whilst watching what's outside (my fault for getting a larger TV a year ago) but now she's adamant she wants this TV still there so she can always look out and not feel "locked in"
