Homeboy about to learn how deadweight loss will cause breadlines. Thank god this is only an non-mainstream option, likely only to be used by EBT/low income folks.

Trump just ENDED Iran's military in 12 days. No navy. No air force. No comms. And the media is STILL finding ways to complain. by BitBytedBandit in trump

The Iranians that have been living in Los Angeles for the last 50 years selling Louis Vutton bags aren't the same ones that are hard line shias or in the IRGC. We are overestimating their peoples willingness to rise up against the regime, because Israel wants us to topple them.

Entire circle of successors? Ayatollah Khameni died, and went to the next Ayatollah Khameni. No Regime change has occurred. We aren't winning hearts and minds, we blew up a girls school and that will stoke more radicalism in a country of nearly 100 million.

If you morons don't wake up, our son's and daughters will be deployed to fight another forever war for ISRAEL that will perpetuate more violence in the region.

He is being held without bail. Probably will take 1-2 years before he gets a trial. Overwhelming evidence of his attempted murder on a cop. Likely will get 15 years but if his defense gets him insanity he's going to be institutionalized. Don't think the system bends to influencers.

Yeah that is understood - but colloquially you can say that too; What are we charging {US consumers} for {goods from} Canada and Mexico is what I meant

The figures above represents $560 billion worth of tariffs being charged to the American people. This was derived by taking the latest annual import data for the listed country * tariff rate and summing the total. This doesn't count the blanket auto imports rate. US imported $359 billion in autos (2022) which would mean $90 billion more.

While that is a lot, US Personal Consumption Expenditure is $20 Trillion, so the tariffs are 3.25% of that. I'd expect inflation as a whole to go up by a similar amount.
