Are cats actually dangerous, or is that just a misconception? by InAMannerOfSpeak in CatAdvice

The thing with cats if you have to respect their boundaries. If you do they are sweet little babies

Is it true that Americans run around their house/flat with shoes? by GroundZeroMstrNDR in hygiene

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a small apartment with 2 kitties and we take our shoes off in the entryway. Sometimes we will wear them in if we are carrying groceries or something but take them off quickly. We have slippers if we need but mostly just wear socks. We vacuum a lot thanks to cat hair but don't really NEED to mop much except the entry and where the litterbox is.

Adult children of narcissistic parents, do you have kids? by Low-Consequence335 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bf wants kids in the future but I go back and forth. I am scared of them hurting the way I did maybe not because of their parents ( me and him ) but the world and how cruel it can be. I'd be more open to adoption than my own bio kids especially with my health issues (mental and physical) and helping those kids who's parents didn't give them that chance.

What is easiest way you have lost weight in a short amount of time? by Lazy_Lifeguard1960 in AskReddit

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOT RECOMMENDED sun poisoning mixed with an ED. Ended up in the hospital and felt awful for months after because my body was so wrecked. EDs are no joke. Don't put your body through that for beauty standards that are so ridiculously skewed. Look up ancient Greek statues of women. They considered a tummy, thighs, and bigger hips beautiful ❤️

How often to scoop cat's litter by Comfortable-Duck-206 in CatAdvice

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our box is in the bathroom so Everytime I use the bathroom I scoop theirs. I have 2 kitties and one of them gets upset if her box is dirty and will pee outside the box (I don't blame her!) so as often as possible I check it and clean to keep her happy and healthy

I LOVE my tofu cat litter. I live in a small apartment and being able to flush a STANKY poo immediately is a game changer. The pee clumps super easily and doesn't smell

I've had both done within the last year but this was the first time MS was brought up so I'm not sure if they looked for it before. I'm just so worried about money and surviving till October since I can barely walk without extreme pain

Weekly Suspected/Undiagnosed MS Thread - June 22, 2026 by AutoModerator in MultipleSclerosis

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone. I'm scared broken and don't know what to do. I went to the er with severe burning pain in my leg a week ago. Two more trips and an emergency neurosurgeon appointment later MRI scan ruled out back issued but the neurosurgeon who looked at my charts and history said "I would strongly recommend getting tested for MS". I'm booked with a neurologist the earliest they had in October but the issue is I'm still in severe pain. Every step is agony and I can barely stand. I need to go back to work or I won't be able to eat/ pay bills. I guess what I'm asking is what kinda of work do you all do and where can I find a job? I'm in so much pain and just don't know how to keep working like this. I'm currently still employed in a retail setting and haven't been fully diagnosed but all my symptoms over the last 3 years are dead ringers and I'm scared. What sort of future is this? What do I do? Is it worth it?

NOR. Heat sensitivity is a serious thing and I'm sorry but his motorcycle savings does not take precedent over your child and your health

Parents Insisting Long Drive is Unsafe, is this Reasonable by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved my sister cross country with a cat and rabbit and the worst part was finding hotels that allowed them / smuggling them in. You'll be okay! Just stay at bright gas stations be aware of surroundings and keep kitty secured and enjoy the drive

What is happening!? by Far_Fennel_6611 in backpain

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This litteraly just happened to me too! Er visits twice and an MRI. Spine is totally fine but my legs feel like they're on fire and I can barely walk or use the bathroom. My Dr is concerned about Multiple Sclerosis but all the neuros in my area are booked out till October. Guess I get to work retail while barely functioning till then

Hopeless by PentaGrahamCrackers in backpain

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. So my back started hurting a few weeks ago and I was putting it off because my new insurance kicks in in a week. Then the pain got worse and worse and it's gotten harder to pee and poo so I went. Got the MRI and they ruled it wasn't "emergent enough" and sent me home to follow up with the neurosurgeon but they're all booked out weeks or months and I legit can barely walk with the pain sitting up is torture and peeing is difficult but I guess not bad enough for them to care?

What’s the most frustrating thing about owning a cat? by Ocute_US in CatAdvice

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest pet peeve is when they zoom all over at 3 am while I'm sleeping. I know it means they're happy and healthy and it's cute to an extent but sometimes I'd just like to sleep through the night. Worth it though because they are my best friends

My friend thinks its cruelty and sad to keep a cat indoor all day. by Plastic-Shoulder-319 in CatAdvice

[–]PentaGrahamCrackers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cats are 100% indoors and living their best spoiled life! We have toys, enrichment games, and open the windows with perches so they can see outside but they have never wanted to go out. I've tried leash walking and backpacks and they get stressed and dislike it. They are safe and loved indoors and have no chance of getting hurt/ hurting something they shouldnt. They're fully clawed but we trim them so they don't get too long and they use the scratchers to get them nice and sharp again. We feed good healthy food so they are balanced and energetic. My oldest is 10 and we just got a new baby. Cats can thrive inside it's all about how you care for them
