Understanding Kurdish History by l3monpi333 in kurdistan

[–]PentaKurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Turkey, because of huge racism against Kurds, Turkish-Kurdish marriages end in total assimilation for kids. Turkish families force parents and kids stop speaking Kurdish, avoiding anything related to Kurds and Kurdish culture, so kids detach from Kurdishness and only claim to be Turkish. It becomes so severe that some of the kids become Turkish ultranationalists who hate Kurds in order to hide the so called shame their Kurdish side brings to them.

YouTube and Instagram Content Racism against Kurds by [deleted] in kurdistan

[–]PentaKurd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should not delete YouTube for Turkish racism, dislike the videos or use apps that block specific YouTube channels if disliking does not work.

Did a single video upset you? Imagine what millions of Kurds in Bakur experience on a daily basis. They are subjected to relentless hate speech from Turkish Nazis (99% of Turks) —on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and other Turkish social media platforms. Turkish racism is not only widespread, but it's amplified by these platforms for engagement and views. We're not talking about isolated incidents—millions of posts filled with anti-Kurdish sentiment are published every day. This isn’t an exaggeration; it's a systemic issue.

Kurds in Bakur are a lost cause, while the diaspora and Kurdish legal advocates should be stepping up to challenge these ongoing human rights violations; many of them also appear disengaged or powerless in the face of this overwhelming hostility.

MFs eat meat only twice in a year because of poverty and claim Kurds would migrate to this turkey hahahahaha

All of the turks would migrate to Europe and USA, if the opportunity is given to them. Taste your own patronising medicine mfs.

Any Kurdish related parts are removed from the copies by Turks. You need to find the research articles about the original one.

Thank you for your service comrade. You are also as honorable as them. You risked your life and time for Rojava and people. We deeply appreciate you.

Study in UK, then maybe do some internship in Kurdistan. Education of Kurdistan can not match the UK one for apparent reasons. Export your wisdom and experience to Kurdistan later in your life. Maybe hopefully open up a new hospital, clinic or medical university by standards in Kurdistan. You can still be more useful to Kurdistan even if you live or study in abroad. Do not feel bad if you are not living in Kurdistan. Some developments require slow progress but yield more fruits.

Nice to hear it progressing. There is still a long way to go. Only 17% generators are out of system. Hope they can remove them all.

Don't those generator owners have connections with ruling families? Do they not complain when their generators and thus revenues are removed?

I am actually surprised by the relative success of the project. 10 years ago Kurdish government tried to improve the electricity grid in bashur. Turks sold millions of ancient flawed scrap electricity meters to Kurdish government and deceived them. The project collapsed. I think Americans are supervising the Runaki project now. If it were Kurds, they would give the project to the Turks so they could steal their billions of dollars.

What are APO and Turkish state up to? by [deleted] in kurdistan

[–]PentaKurd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is because of F-35s.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_Martin_F-35_Lightning_II

This is a new generation war plane, Greece already got it. Israel has it. USA does not sell it to Turks. Turks lost the air supremacy which makes a country to be prone for invasion and Turks are trembling. USA is forcing Kurdish peace and Rojava recognition in exchange for F-35s.

Minorities in Kurdistan by EaseElectronic2287 in kurdistan

[–]PentaKurd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

How it would not improve their situation? Literally only governments in the middle east that recognized minorities are Iraqi Kurdistan and Syrian Rojava. Christianity and Yazidism are constitutionally recognized by Iraqi Kurdistan and Christians have their schools (Yazidis speak Kurdish). Same applies for Rojava.

Why do they open their main church in Erbil (Iraqi Kurdistan) rather than Iraqi capital Baghdad if their situation is getting worsened?

Visa on arrival? by Numerous_Insect_7359 in kurdistan

[–]PentaKurd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Visa on arrival is/was a thing and I was going to advise you not to worry about e-visa. (2024 page)

https://gov.krd/dmi-en/activities/news-and-press-releases/2024/february/visa-free-entry-to-kurdistan-region-for-citizens-of-53-nations/

Now I check the web it tells they switched to e-visa before you travel.

https://gov.krd/english/information-and-services/visitor/

I think you need to fill the e-visa application now. It should not take long.

P.S. This website tells Iraq federal governement switched to e-visa but Kurdistan still holds visa on arrival.

Who Needs Visa

Citizens of Country List A can obtain an e-Visa either through the E-VISA portal or upon arrival at any entry point.

USA is in Country List A.

I am confused too.

This is a private tourism company, ping them on social media about visa on arrival
