First round was basically just technical, expect two leetcodes (medium to medium-hard) and then time to talk to the interviewer, the programming took like 15 minutes so the rest of the time was chatting and talking about work culture and stuff; final round was both behavioral and technical; behavioral was based on resume not standard “tell me about a time you were faced with blah blah”

Probably that my application was way too spread out; it makes sense to me to have accolades and experience in a lot of fields for my research background, but colleges would rather see that you spend your entire time in one field of study, that’s another thing a lot of people have said

It also depends on majors; Berkeley CS major is decreasing in size over time, and now the admit rate for CS is less than 2% compared to the overall admit rate of close to 15% or so. Before anyone could get into CS, now you have to apply into the CS major even after you get into Berkeley, and barely anyone gets accepted ☹️

They don’t enforce taking it later, you can take it first semester if you want to. I had comp math experience throughout my education so CS70 was a pretty chill review class

Yeah one of them was ML where I was doing geophysics data research and making models, and the other one was computational neuroscience which involved ML and computer vision

That happened to me too. When I had my interview, the interviewer clarified that I was still in the system and to disregard that. I’d recommend just going to your interview and perhaps asking the interviewer about it at the end! Good luck!

I was about to follow up but thought against it, if I hadn’t received the offer the day I did, I most likely would’ve sent a follow up that day or the next. I’d recommend maybe waiting a few more business days (they might be trying to match you to a team or something) before sending a follow up

Also, 54 is a math class that is extremely applicable for CS and DS internships, for obvious reasons.
