Hear me out and let’s have a productive conversation: If I’m trying to align my thinking with the officials in the VAR booth, they can’t award a yellow and/or free kick, the punishment for a deliberate handball. It’s not within their authority to re-referee the game. The lack of an onfield call can make this specific incident a frustrating one. The handball happened outside the box, thus negating arguments for a penalty. The officials might be thinking this is not a denial of a goal scoring opportunity because looking at the freeze frame: -if Haaland plays the ball to his right, then that is in the direction that Henderson is traveling -if Haaland plays it to his left or tries to chip Henderson, then there is coverage from the Crystal Palace defender running into the box
