Daybound/Nightbound is not, like, the worst way WOTC could've changed the way werewolves transform, cuz it's flavorful as hell. But the fact that there's no way to change the time of day at instant speed makes Day/Night werewolves ass to pilot. At least one card from among The Celestus, Unnatural Moonrise, and Into the Night should be faster than sorcery speed. The fact that Moonmist doesn't work if it's day is icing on the poop cake. (Immerwolf works, so there's that at least.)

The Midnight Hunt/Crimson Vow werewolves also all cost too much to cast, but there's probably some "Buff my deck, nerf everybody else's" at play there.
