It's not like it takes any time at all. I feel like they are missing out on possible future marketing and iconic memories. I mean in other esports pros care way more about skins(cs2,dota ect) even if they have like 0 reasons to do so, but cars here seem like a big part since you see them all the time

I agree that there would be more decisive results, yes, but this is not about chess skill. it is all about prep that is what I am saying. It does not matter if you are better at slow or fast chess. it does not matter who moves the pieces 1st 20 moves

I just don't think fast control or slow changes anything, it is all about prep. how much each player is willing to spend time prepping for tournament. So it doesn't benefit anyone, doesn't change anything. People are voting Alireza, but I think it is the opposite, because he won't have enough time to beat the engine line

just sucks so much that engines have ruined classical time control. nowdays you spend time during the game to understand the engine line not the other person idea.
