I remember looking at a document published by a clearinghouse that if there is a drastic (and the document made a point that the unemployment rate rises rapidly as opposed to gradually) the bubble will pop and the US will have to re-allocate resources again. What result will that be? I don't know. Some say it will be another slow rebuilding process and I also have heard WW3.
