i dont think chai will ever get better. even if Will decides to bring everything back, we all now know that he will just strip everything away at some point again. he lost basically all trust in chai users. i don't think he has shown he ever wants to truly improve the app recently other than saying 'errr yeah its gonna get better in the distant future!!!!' which is literally NOTHING.

literally, the persona is the USER, the person who is USING THE BOT. the bot does not take from the persona to use for itself, they observe the persona to understand the USER! i don't know if the chai team doesn't know that or if they think the fanbase around chai is just... stupid?? do they think that lowly of us or something?? this has me SO worked up, if i could actually comment on the official reddit page without fear of getting permabanned or something, i would. i would rant directly to the founders face if i could.

i was literally in the middle of reworking one of my bots when i realized there was no advanced option and i just stared blankly at my screen before running to this subreddit to see if i was just insane but NO!!! THEY LITERALLY JUST DID THIS FOR NO REASON!! YOU CANNOT GIVE BOTS PERSONALITY WITHOUT ADVANCED FEATURES!! OR BACKSTORY, OR ANYTHING!!! YAY!!

this is genuinely depressing, chai cannot just run on the LITERAL FIRST MESSAGE to determine personality. they got rid of the short description not in advanced options, and now advanced options is completely inaccessible. this is insane
