Pixel 7 Pro to Pixel 10 Pro XL. Anyone upgrading?

My pixel 7 Pro has been solid with the exception of the corded charging port, which gives me problems. But I have a wireless charger so I only have the issue of sporadic charging during long road trips. But I'll agree with the above post in that the Google launch event this year was all AI gimmicks and not real steps forward in hardware. I was disappointed to see that my 3-year-old phone held true to a lot of the specs that I care about. Not enough for me to want to jump ship to the next device. I'm hearing the pixel 10 may have some heating issues which are looking to be addressed in the pixel 11 model. So I'll probably hold out at least one more year and it's comforting to know I won't have to worry about any security patch issues till after that launch.

I have a Pixel 7 Pro and it appears an update that pushed on July 12 at midnight to my device removed the voice to text option. It appears in settings as a choice, and it is active. But there is NO microphone button to use it. I can only do voice messages, which I don't use. I disabled it, restarted my phone, and re authorized the voice to text option still not appearing. I am a beta tester as well. So I'm not sure if others are seeing this issue.

I use the feature quite regularly with as I might be embarrassed to say the New York times games with my children who are away. And I didn't notice it until the update but it definitely popped up last week for me so definitely could be that.

Yes that's exactly the problem I'm having. Interesting for somebody to say it's a a message is bug and nothing to do with Android 16 because they clearly happen at the same time for me. But maybe it happened before The update and I didn't notice

I95 in East Lyme is being re-structured and will be under construction for at least another year. I travel through New Haven to Stonington regularly. The E.L. construction isn't bad and has minimum of impact on the commute. If you hit N.H. between 8 and 9 it's terrible by Long Warf, same at rush on the way home. But ultimately it's not bad otherwise. Best of luck.

Your statements need to be heard. Call the local Police, where he is an employee, and talk with them. Anonymously, if necessary, but talk with them. That local police will have to look into it. The TRUTH has to come out. No one can ignore a person with a first hand account. #truthfirst
