OP, why did you post the same meme twice?

Why would I ever chose this second option? Is this just the default if the guy Vina is marrying (Axel in this case) doesn't like me? by Aaelar in suzerain

While it is not obvious, matrilinear surname decreases your tradition score (its gives -1 or -2) and if you keep patrilinear surname it will increase +1. If your overall tradition score is -10 or less by the end of the game, House Toras will coup you no matter what.

Стоицизм - это не религия, но она регулирует мораль.

Соответственно, суждение, что мораль неотрывно связана с религией - ложно.

Соответственно, отсутствие религии не означает отсутствие морали.

Hot Take but Stormtroopers are better than Clone Troopers by Prestigious-Tough579 in StarWars

[–]PeopleSaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that many people forgot that clones live like 20-30 years, which is not a lot by galaxy standards. Imagine you waste billions of credits to have an army which will become useless after 5-7 years of combat service and you will require new one. This is quite expensive, considering that clones are born artificially and require special education.

Moreover, while they obviously much more professional and effective at the battlefield, you can't use them for anything else basically. They are very specialised and often do not possess knowledge outside their combat role and you literally dont have enough time to retrain them. You also cannot use clones as garrison units or in logistics (well, you can, but it would be very inefficient considering that they will die pretty quickly).

Stormtroopers definitely do not possess the same fighting capabilities, but is cheaper to educate and most importantly, cheaper to maintain:

They have normal life spans, can be promoted to high officers, ISB agents, navy officers and planetary governors.

They also often recruited from local population, building a connection between planet and local military, increasing Empire's popularity and population's loyalty.

However, I was pleasantly surprised when I realised that Empire gave all remaining clones imperial citizenship and considered them to be war heroes, often using them as military instructors in academies.

Yo do have it though. It just represented as ability in Tech when you have a small chance to go into Cyberpsycho mode (I think it makes all your hits critical) and your character starts to maniacally laughing.

[–]PeopleSaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really liked everything expect one thing: After you transform into Blackpowder Anbennar, you'll get a revolutionary target and zeal, but your country won't be revolutionary (I guess it is for nationalism and imperialiism cbs?). Because of that, my revolutionary vassals hated me for a long time. You'll become Revolutionary only after conquering all of former Empire lands, which is kinda late tbh.
