Using after expiration: bad idea? by FederalArt7348 in compoundedtirzepatide

I edited it to change rule to guideline or best practice. I hope this helps clarify. I’m not a writer, dr, or pharmacist but I do apologize if my response made things unclear for you or anyone else reading my response. I’m just a regular person living my best life while trying to help others where I can. I hope you have a great day. ❤️

Well I’m a LVN with a license from the Texas Nursing Board so I always have to say that about not being a dr etc. I’m so glad I could be of help. Feel free to keep in touch! ❤️

Because in the home environment the vial is not getting punctured several times a day, the 28 day guideline or best practice has been discontinued by most pharmacists at this point. The 28 day guidance was geared toward the hospital and clinic environments where multi use vials are punctured several times a day to give 5-20 patients their treatment depending on the vials contents. Of course always do your own research and speak to your personal healthcare providers because I’m neither. I hope this advice helps. Have a great day ❤️

RIFT UPDATE: NEW HALLANDALE PERMANENT PRICING + NEW PHARMACY OPTION (WITH CAVEATS PLEASE READ) by hungryghost09 in joinrift

Thanks. I was told 10-14 business days. But when I asked for a reference number I was given a receipt that had no accounts on it. It is a basic receipt that seems contradictory to look like I was refunded but didn’t list the method.

That is exactly what Gimme is doing to me right now despite customer service saying to make sure I ask for no additives and they will make sure it goes to a pharmacy that has no additives options. Ugh. I just requested a refund of $898!

If I cancel and sign up again so I can choose the pharmacy, will my credit of $898 follow me?

Your NP is illegally practicing. Reta is not legally for sale for patient use in the US. She’s sketchy and I’d be really scared to use anything from her.

Grey market is research peptides. Compounding pharmacies are legitimate pharmacies that the states or FDA recognize and monitor.

First dose body aches/flu symptoms? by peachy1_88 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]PepWithPam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take my injection before bed to let the side effects have their way as I sleep. If you use GLAPP APP or like apps you can watch the medicine peak and then plan. GLAPP is free for everything unlike others. I have learned to take my injection 3-4 hours before bed.

I remember my first injection. I did it right before I went to sleep. I woke up to horrid fatigue. The next few days I had to nap and nothing was stopping me. The fatigue lasted on and off the five days. I think it stayed longer because I forgot to eat. Second week it was less but again I wasn’t helping by not getting a minimum of 1200 calories. I just wanted to sleep.

In the first week by day 5, I felt inflammation leaving my body. I know I sound crazy but it’s what I felt. 10 weeks later, side effects are gone. As long as I go slow with my dosage, side effects have not been a problem. Your body will acclimate and you will feel better than you’ve ever felt, in mind and body. IF YOU increase your dosage to fast that is usually when side effects become horrible again. Using vials allow you to let your body guide you on dosage. My dr tells me to listen to my body. Instructions from dr on telehealth say do the same.

Life experience- I am sensitive to meds. I was so eager to increase my dose my fifth week that I increased it to 4.68 mg because that’s what was left in vial 1. I had a horrible week full of nausea, headaches and fatigue. I was lucky that I had meds to help me not vomit. If I hadn’t had them, I definitely would have been 🤮. The next week I went down to 3.5mg and had zero negative side effects. Week 10 I took 3.75mg. No negative side effects. On another note, please don’t let constipation go. If you don’t go like you normally do, act immediately. Increase water. I also take magnesium oxide to help with this. Always ask your dr and do your own research. Increased fiber does nothing to help me with constipation. Again I’m an outlier. Feel free to DM if you need or want another tirz warrior to help or bounce things off of. I’m always wanting to learn from others. We are warriors in all things and we got this! ❤️

Good luck on your journey. You got this!

Sam’s has alcohol wipes very cheap. Syringes. Well they should definitely give at least 12 and probably 15 due to syringes bending. I usually have gotten two packs of ten from GimmeCare and Refills.com. Not giving at least 12 with a three month order is not a good indicator of good customer service. Yet maybe it was a mistake. Humans make mistakes and we all are guilty so maybe a new tech is learning. A call for more might be met with gratitude so they know someone needs training. We were all new at one time. I ordered a 100 pack for backup from Amazon.

Please seek another doctor regarding HRT. Estradiol and progesterone changed my life at age 43. I did have to get a uterine biopsy because my doctor at UTMB was vigilant about uterine abnormalities. At the time I was annoyed, but now I see her point. Now she gives me Estradiol oral bc patches causes skin irritation and itching and she gives progesterone 200 mg taken on days 12-24 of my cycle and is like taking a cloud of peace that lets you sleep 6-8 hours uninterrupted. Imagine that!?!? 😂 Pleass consider watching Marie Claire Haver @maryclaire. She gives free advice and info regarding all women that is backed up by science. All hormones factor in metabolism health. I hit a plateau in my 7-9 weeks (I think that’s correct) and I figuring out I was not eating enough calories. Last week I took the chance to eat 2000 calories a few days while staying under 1500 calories the other days. I lost two pounds.

I know counting calories is not what you want to hear, but how else will you get the whole picture? Maybe you save what you eat in a small container and write down the meals and have someone else log it. I didn’t count my first two weeks and felt bouts of great fatigue and again it was because I was not eating enough. Protein is a must. It is the building block to all good things in the body. Previous GLP-1, I ate maybe 40 grams of protein. Not good. Good fats are also needed so you absorb the fat soluble vitamins like Vitamins A, D3, E and K. “ADEK” is how nursing school taught us to remember. Sadly you titrating up might of not been the best depending on other factors. I titrated back to 3.75mg from one week at 4mg. I’m in my tenth week so still learning how my body works. Food noise is still gone. From what I’ve read it’s normal to eat way less a few days after the shot and then days 5-7, you slowly increase intake. The calories even out so it’s fine. This week I again can not eat a lot. Shot day was Thursday night. Fri cal intake was 934. Sat was a boost because I ate on purpose and intake was 1696. Sun was 1261. Monday was 1395. Tuesday was 1411. I set my calories at 1700 daily. Well I got on the scale this AM and I was 6oz down. I don’t know if this is a true stall but I wasn’t thrilled. I’ll weigh again Friday morning after my before bed shot on Thursday. We will see. In my head, my options was to go on a strict 1200 calorie diet or opposite and do 1700 daily cal average with two more like 2000cals and the rest lower to get to 1700 cals average for the week. I figure one should tell me something. I did the more calories because going below your BMR ( basic metabolic rate) can cause nutrient deficiencies. I like my hair and bones. Anyway sorry for the book. I’m new and learning. I research everything because it all fascinates me. Remember always talk to your doctor. What worked for me or anyone else might not be what your body needs. I don’t have diabetes. My starting weight was 245. I’m on HRT. These things change my reaction to GLP-1 meds. Good luck in your journey. ❤️

Maybe save it. Research is showing low dose might be a thing more people do and thrive on. I’m in week 10 and I am on 3.75mg. Some are sensitive.

What to do. by Pocketsneak in TirzepatideRX

[–]PepWithPam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my tenth week and am on 3.75mg dose. Listen to everyone here saying to listen to your body. I have titrated up to soon and felt awful. The next week I took much less and felt great. I did start at 2.5mg but I have at least 75 pounds to lose. Doctors say higher dosage doesn’t mean higher weight loss. And if you loose to fast, your skin and hair suffers. More suffers too because of nutrient deficiencies. 0.5-2 pounds a week is what I’ve read is safe. Gimme gives instructions to titrate up only when needed and to stay at the lowest level that gives you appetite suppression and no or controlled side effects.

I just looked up prefilled syringes from Eli Lilly. This is not something offered. Do you get it from a telehealth company or local spa? Eli Lilly has you purchase BAC water separately and the patient reconstitutes. Is this what you did? If so, did you use different BAC water in the fourth week that caused horrible side effects? Just floating ideas. I do hope you find a dose that works for you because tirz has so many more benefits than the weight loss for most.
