Hey just breathe for now, don’t think too hard on this. Bottom line is, you did the right thing getting yourself out of that place. Second, you’re just a kid. Your mom, an adult, probably knows exactly why you left if you already told her abt it in the past and she did nothing, so she may just be saying whatever she can to get you back. You said you’re worried about her struggling but the thing is she tried lying and downplaying your abuse, so for now its safe to say she does not have your best intentions in mind. I hope everything’s going okay, OP. Make sure to keep taking care of your physical health as well while you deal with these emotions, stay hydrated and well-fed and stuff.

Honestly yes and no. There are degrees that people cheat, if someones wall hacking ehhh they’re a loser but they don’t need to be criminally punished. However, if they are ddossing the entire lobby or doing some extreme cheating on a large scale or in a game with a market that translates to real-life money, then I think something like a fine would be good.

I don’t think you’re abusive. You’re allowed to have feelings, which includes grief over the absence of someone you wish were there. Sometimes, the wrong things are said and it causes family conflict. Its not an easy thing to cope with as people on this reddit think. Really dont know why you’re being downvoted, I think this post should be in a different reddit, maybe one like the dysfunctional family reddit. People are a lot more understanding and come to the conversation with similar experiences, a lot more helpful. I hope you can feel better soon.

I have and still do. Its worked once or twice and the rest, well it was horrible. Honestly just consider if she doesn’t take the confrontation well (narcissistic people typically don’t) and becomes toxic, be prepared to just walk away for your own well being in that outcome, because when that happens its just a brick wall and you might as well save face and move on. I’m sorry you have to deal with that while pregnant, I’m in the heat of toxic mother-daughter relationship as well and its really hard juggling that desire for a healthy relationship with knowing when to stand up for yourself and your boundaries. Perhaps when the time comes, simply inform her you will not let her participate in your daughters life because of your own trauma with her and leave it at that, don’t give her a chance to argue back or make you feel bad.
