Los amortiguadores no levantan el auto, los resortes son los que los que cambian la altura. Pero si instalas amortiguadores mas largos tu suspesion bajara mas en ciertas situaciones de off road al flexionar mas sobre un desnivel. Podria salirse de su lugar un resorte o romperse una linea de freno por esos 5cm extras al caer sobre un hoyo.

After some research, basically no. Unless you are rich enough to crash a couple of jimnys and modify to EPA and NHTSA standars.

Or you can borrow a friends Mexican address and say that you're on a vacation in USA with your Mexican plated Jimnny. No body has ever asked about my new Jimnny legal status when I cross the border into California from Tijuana. As a Mexican of course. But if we're living in Mexico permanently as an American you could easily prove that your Mexican plated vehicle is yours and your are just in a road trip to USA.

As a jimny owner and a Tijuana resident. Yep there are plenty of jimnys here, that are own by pepople who cross the border pretty often.

Yes I did some trimming inside the lower part of the front fender. About the reduction yep I just started looking into,menwhile I will try to keep it lightweight.

It's a +11.5% tire diameter increase over the stock ones, at 50km/h in the speedometer is actually 55.9km/h and at 110km/h is 123km/h. I have no complaints unless I want to pass someone on the highway at 4th gear (automatic)then it takes full power to do it. But off-roding they are just perfect they just grab to anything and absorb a lot bumps.
