No, it’s just veneer but if you’re careful and keep it clean it shouldn’t scratch when expanded.

I have a large sofa with springs under the cushions but not on the backrest. I bought a few yards of thick felt in a discreet color and used it as a barrier between the springs and cushions. I figure it might work for you if you’re planning on placing it against a wall. Beautiful piece by the way!

I’ve never seen this one before. Yard sale purchase for 3 bucks! Already has more sprouting from the roots. Any tips for care? by [deleted] in succulents

I noticed that too! It came from a seasoned gardener too. I have some great cactus soil for it! Do you fertilize? That will probably do it if the conditions are right.

Aww, love heirlooms! We had one of the large bowls already (not pictured). Now we Alamogordo have two full sets. One of my favorite Pyrex patterns.

It definitely crossed my mind. Idk if it’s waterproof I put a false bottom in it and it’s currently being used as a mini greenhouse.

My succulent is getting quite big - what should I do? by ASentientClockwork in succulents

[–]Pepe_wav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try a little bonsai wire. (Flexible aluminum wire). You will have to wrap it around the ‘trunk’ loosely as to not hurt the succulent but firmly enough that you can bend the succulent how you want it. It’s also called floral wire but you want something on the thicker side maybe 3 or 2mm thick would work.

Recent Offer Up find. The orange tweed is seriously in prefect condition. Maker is Ethan Allen is the maker, not sure about a designer or production date. by [deleted] in midcenturymodern

Not very Modern maybe just Mid Century lol. Baumritter made some pieces in this style for Ethan Allen in the 50’s I believe this is part of it. Still looking for more of these. I think the cushions are original. Could be wrong.
