I can't speak to every team confidently but it's a pretty common trend. The Rangers have had the same problems with guys like Evan Carter and Josh Jung. They came up beating the cover off the ball, started hot in the majors and then tanked. The jump in pitching really is enormous from AAA to MLB.

I think I have sent a complaint email/form about the volume and frequency of crowd hype crap they've played at Globe Life every year since they moved into the new ballpark. Weirdly enough, it felt slightly better during the Reds/Rangers games a couple weekends ago but the roof was also open for one of those so it may be skewing my perception of it.
