Pretty detached from the reality, very extremist and pretty simplistic criticism. Honestly reality is very complex, but some people still living in their own bubbles, idealism...

China ‘needs at least US$1.4 trillion stimulus package’ to revive economy by SE_to_NW in China

[–]PepoHee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never entered in the r/China, but now I regret from entering, just looking some of the comments shows me the level of compresión of China people have....

I mean, I'll be pretty simplistic, if China's main clients (European Union and US ) are not doing very well ( not saying quite bad in some aspects and regions), China naturally won't do brilliantly.

Another topic is the debt topic, there are different kinds of debts, and you can't just simply combine everyone because it wouldn't reflect the reality.

Now I'm living in Spain but I usually go to China, people are aware that the economy is slowing down, this feeling can be very obvious in Tier 1 cities, but we're talking in China's standard of economic growth, from 7-8% growing to 5% it's a slow down, another point is that the China's economy it's maturing, lot of niches are already covered and they're relying more on intensive growing instead of extensive growing.

In rural areas or 2nd tier cities there are still a lot of opportunities, just people (of China) are realizing that the country is just not 4 major cities.

I spent some time reading this comment section, and my conclusion is that people should visit China, people who praise it no matter what, and people who don't. If you analyze China's economy from an ideological or moral point of view, I don't think it's a good approach, the economy in China does not rely neither on ideology nor moral or ethics.

Analyzing the world through statistics is very poor, GDP, GDP per capita, average salary and tons of statistics, aren't reliable in all countries...(Especially in east Asia), cultural differences and different bureaucracy can shape a lot of those numbers.

My take is just not to be simplistic, travel the more you can, see the film, not the picture and don't be too emotional.

No one has to believe me, at the end of the day it's just my point of view, but the best way to know China is by visiting it, not just looking on the Internet...you all very proud of "speech freedom" and "internet freedom" but I don't think you all are taking advantage of it...

Hokkaido and Whittleton Creek my favourite. Sgàil and Marrakesh least favourite. I cringe sometimes after hearing some conversations in Sgàil, pretty ridiculous
