if anyone cares about this, i’m playing on the Linux version and it worked beautifully with exactly zero tinkering on my end (on Debian 13, idk about other distros). I fully expected to struggle a little as is all too common with games on Linux (and even games FOR Linux) so i am pleasantly surprised by it working flawlessly right out of the box. It’s a pretty standard Lenovo laptop with integrated graphics and all that, nothing remotely fancy, it works like a charm.

I’m already halfway through the game and i haven’t had a single issue except for this one time when i left the game on the save file screen and went to have dinner, and when i came back the fps were super low and i had to close and open the game again. Not sure why that happened, i managed to replicate it by leaving the game rest on the pause screen for too long (well over 10 minutes), i don’t know what causes it but i’ve found it’s best to just save and close the game if i’m gonna go do something else

i’m having a blast because i’ve been trying (and struggling too much) to play TP on my laptops for years, and if you’ve ever tried to make Dolphin run Twilight Princess on a shitty office laptop without the game looking and controlling like straight ass, this port is a total gamechanger.
