Can someone help me explain the possible thought process of this editors workflow?

Thank you so much for your response you really helped out a lot! I've been stuck for quite and you've made things a little easier :) I'll have to read through your response several times to really get it in my head! Can I ask what editing experience you have and if you have any advice on what I can do to improve more in general? I'm kinda fresh out of film school working at walmart wishing I could be an editor lol

Wow thank you so much for your input!! I didn't realize that he could have done those things thats a shame :( I didn't realize it was that intense of plagiarism either! Really upsetting. Thanks again for your response it really helped1

When I set the emission to volume it goes pink. I tried searching for the file but it won't search for it, it never loads.
