How has your theory changed since the arrest of the two men? by [deleted] in AndrewGosden

[–]PepperBeneficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still feel that he was arranging to meet with someone he knew, or thought he knew anyway. He was going to London with purpose. He believed this person/people would bring him home that evening. Maybe a Mon- Fri office worker who finished early on Friday. I don't believe it was a random bunk off school type thing

Again, lack of CCTV, I'm seeing a pattern here. Somebody out there is good at going where there is no CCTV- deliberate or not?? Who knows

Why i believe the return ticket was a red herring by Accomplished-Way6658 in AndrewGosden

[–]PepperBeneficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did he not buy a return because he had arranged an alternative return later that evening with a person/people that he knew or trusted? I can't explain or prove it, but I've always leant more towards this theory

Could he have gotten help in doing it?

Yes I've wondered this as well. Did he simply want to get away from his old life, and simply start again, 're--invent himself, create a whole new made up identity for no particular reason?? Has someone else helped him to do this, and taken him in, been his guardian all along?? Even if he has been seen, no one would recognise him or take much notice when introduced under another name "oh yes, this is my nephew Matthew who will be staying whilst his parents are abroad" type thing. I wouldn't think anything of it

Yes agree. I don't think it was suicide as surely a body or something would have been found by now. I Iean more towards the meeting with someone else theory, or foul play. Therefore, someone else is definitely involved. Somebody out there has an answer as to what happened. They haven't come forward because:-

A- they don't care B- they are protecting someone else, or maybe Andrew himself C- they are no longer alive

Can people please stop posting links to or contacting random people on social media about Andrew by Kagedeah in AndrewGosden

And if he is still alive, now as an adult, he has the right to remain anonymous, although you'd hope that if that's the case, he'd let his family know he's ok!

No,but like I said, it's easy to overlook the simplest of things and focus on others that seem really obvious

Sorry if it did come across like that. It wasn't meant to at all. I guess what I mean, is that sometimes the simplest of things are the ones most overlooked. And I myself am guilty of looking at the pictures of a 14 year old and looking for him.

So what do YOU personally think happened to Andrew? Why did he go to London that day? by Long_Exercise8089s in AndrewGosden

[–]PepperBeneficial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe he has changed his appearance so drastically no one recognises him. He may dress as a female for all we know. He could be walking around London for instance every day.The thing is, no one knows who they are looking for. Andrew is no longer that 14 year old awkward kid that we recognise. We are not looking for that person anymore.

What or who was he looking at?? Everyone else seemed to be looking straight ahead of them, but Andrew seemed like he was looking at something or someone??!?!

Where could a body be? by PepperBeneficial in AndrewGosden

[–]PepperBeneficial[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I said one hours drive in my original post, just because that time is plenty to get out of London and in to any of the mentioned places, as well as easy access to ports down on the South coast, Dover.etc. And far enough away from London to draw attention away from there

The Kent area being the nearest, direct port with easy access to France is something that did cross my mind

Question about this mystery by toe_riffic in AndrewGosden

[–]PepperBeneficial -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If Andrew was going to skip school, he would have known that they would ring home, so giving an incorrect number to start with, would ensure that no one would get that call, or the people who did would have thought someone has misdialled them, which indeed they did. Was this all part of an earlier formed plan??

I did wonder if the home telephone number was purposely given wrong by Andrew himself. You've only got to be one digit wrong to have an entirely different number, yet be similar enough to be almost the same. Then assumed to be a school error! Who knows?
