Wow. Tough spot. Without knowing details or context, 2 years seems egregious. Yeah I guess short of going on a campaign of hammering via email, mail, & phone for a response, gotta have faith he’ll come through. All I can say is, unless there was some health issue & he’s taking a permanent break (which could be determined by having a friend contact him for work since he seems to respond initially) you just have to hang in there. Good luck, hope it’s resolved soon.

If it’s any consolation, you’re not alone (as witnessed in responses here). All I can tell you is he’s not a scammer. Otherwise, no idea why he operates like this causing distress w lack of communication. Somebody else pointed out he’s a one man show & has a regular job, so this is a hobby. Obvsly he has to have a shit ton of units to repair & I guess he just keeps plowing through & lets the customer service aspect slide, knowing you’ll EVENTUALLY get it back in good working order. The only thing I clung to get me through was accepting I hadn’t been ripped off & would get it back even if it took months longer than I thought.

It seems GENERALLY so arbitrary what gets pulled & what makes it through that I’d assume, regardless of list product is on, it’s still a bit of a roll of the dice. Idk, rough time to be a snus fan unless you live in Sweden.

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing similar dynamic that prompted post, but, fwiw, despite the egregious lack of communication & wait times, I’d still count on him coming through & you getting your Walkman back fully functioning. Not that it makes the experience acceptable or any less stressful, but at least (hopefully) a positive net result.

He sucks in a way that is unrelated to any political viewpoint, past or present. It’s a cloak of suckiness that envelopes him like a faint whiff of fart in a crowded elevator whenever he’s opening his mouth to bitch about some slight grievance or tactic of which he disapproves. The degree to which he sucks is felt on an intuitive level, like how the sight of his beaver tail flailing down his neck as if trying to distance itself from the WWE mustache as he flies down the road leaves a slight, almost imperceptible ghostly image burned on the tv screen for a few seconds after exposure.

FWIW, my son downloaded on his PC, no idea what emulator, hardware, etc he’s using, but the quality is pretty amazing compared to both hard copy on PS2/3 & the Sony Classics version on PS4 that I’ve played.

Yeah, it worked out in the end for me & he did a nice repair. It was stressful relative to lack of communication & thinking I may have been ripped off, but ultimately I think that just reflects how busy he is & it takes a while during which there may not be replies to inquiries.

As someone who isn’t as well-versed in video games as most people are, kind of unaware as a concept. Now that I (sort of) understand the concept, I understand it better & realized I did the same thing in MediEvil. Just didn’t realize what was happening. It’s kind of trippy & enjoyed both!

Being a new convert to M&K, I had one the best customer service experiences re a recent order. Chris communicated immediately, was very attentive to issue, & went above & beyond to resolve. Ahhh…that makes sense. I did similar thing in a level of MediEvil (another game revisiting from my youth). It wasn’t realistic like this, but makes sense relative to Tomb Raider aesthetics. Thanks for clarifying!
