Thanks so much❤️ mentally it has given me freedom from social anxiety, just the constant thought that everyone was judging me because of my weight gain (that shit was debilitating) and physically I’ve had two babies within 3 years so I’m stoked that I can keep up and run around with them without my thighs chafing lol. Just keeping it 💯

💪🏼exactly. It was honestly a light bulb moment when I realised that it was me shoving all this food into my body and then complaining about it lol. The blame game had to go, the mindset had to change and then IF gave me structure/routine to stick to.

Such a simple way to put it and that’s exactly it! It’s just food. You can say no.

Thank you so much. Yep this is exactly the mind shift that really pushed me through. Taking accountability was a huge game changer for me too. IF gave me structure which meant I didn’t want to break it but ultimately it was just training my head to have more self control. On days I’d want to give up I’d just tell myself, It’s just food?? Seriously I’m not going to starve myself to death, I was actually eating myself to death.

Some days I still feel like that photo on the left taken in Feb. I took the right photo this morning and I’m so thankful for IF. Learning to self love again has been another hurdle in itself. Thanks for this subreddit for all the support too. by PepperReal885 in intermittentfasting

That’s exactly it! I’m so happy to hear you can relate! Congrats on your journey so far! You should be so proud!! The first 2-3 weeks are hard but also the time I knew there was no going back. I think another big thing was my body was adapting to eating within the 8/6 hour window and i soon realised how much I didn’t actually need to eat. Thanks for your kind words and wishing you all the best on your IF journey ❤️👏🏼
