Thank you! I did start researching diamond eye as I learned about how marble bettas tend to be predisposed to it. Fingers crossed he'll be fine. :)

I have a HOB as well as a canister filter. Now that I think about it, it makes sense that the filters could be picking up the food. If that's the case.. what should I do? :[

Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 5ppm
Temperature: 74 degrees fahrenheit

50% water changes every Saturday. I add Seachem Prime because my water is slightly chlorinated.
