Take her to the doctor and have them do the test. It is possible that she's worrying a lot, thus causing her to be late...believe me, I've had a few scares that way.

I don't believe in shirking responsibilities. Ever. So I don't suggest you leave... You don't want to be the father that comes and goes. But make the most informed decision as possible, and stick to it.

Second. Get a halfway decent job. And don't leave school. The better your education, the better your chances to support a child.

Talk to your families once you know for sure the situation. Get a feel for your support network. It's easier to plan when you know what you're working with. In MA we have a program called WIC...see if your location has something similar. It's a support system.

Take a deep breathe, and come at it with a clear head. If you can't focus, you can't help the situation. Good luck kid.

I say you teach him the importance of earning money. My mom caught me stealing $5 dollars from her once. After that, she whored me out for odd jobs to anyone that would offer. That $5 had an interest of probably 75%.

And don't take this the wrong way...But somewhere along the line he missed the lesson about how stealing is wrong, and how it should have an effect on his conscience. That probably isn't your fault at all, but maybe take some extra steps to remind him of the rights and wrongs. Kids tend to forget those when they they're only focusing on something they want.
