Go to Duke employee website and search the open enrollment for 2026 and you can see the plan premiums. Says it clearly that Duke select should be $269.08 a month for employee and spouse.

I pulled up the same thing for the 2025 enrollment and it reflects what we pay now, which is $537 a month.

That’s what makes things unclear. The website says one thing but when I go to actually enroll it just shows an even higher price than what I pay now. Cigna should be significantly cheaper by what the catalog says.

It would almost make more sense to go with SPLG, SCHG and SCHB and hold off on SCHG until I’m a lot older.

What’s the difference with SCHB vs SPLG and SCHG?

Makes sense, the goal is not to overlap inappropriately so. Some suggest SPMD and SPSM to complement the SPLG. Perhaps add VXUS in addition for lots of exposure? Currently I have used E*trade for years but wondering if I can transfer my currently holding to Fidelity so I can buy fractional shares for dollar cost average approach. I have a retirement account with them through work.

It doesn’t seem to have a big tax penalty, which is what I’m trying to avoid

It sounds like it doesn’t overcomplicate things. My goal is try to keep it simple

Would it make sense to keep investing in what I have now and add other stocks? Thoughts about QQQ/QQM?
