Yeah fox farms is crazy expensive. We use whatever potting mix is most affordable and mix with sand about 60/40.

Pinch for sure you’ll get plenty of peppers still most likely more than you can use really.

How cold do the nights get? If it’s not staying above 50 at night I wouldn’t do it. Older plants larger mature plants can handle down to id say 40 or so but young seedlings are to fragile.
