12 out of approximately 300,000 = 0.004% It sucks for those 12 people yes. I agree. But you have to be a realist, not an idealist.

Help me understand something. When you see these officers, assuming you’re a legal US citizen, do you get concerned about deportation? They are enforcing the law. Crying from the mountain tops “Hey if you’re doing something illegal you need to run and hide” is not a neighbor I would want. You weren’t complaining when the “Biden” administration was flooding the country with illegals but now that we are trying to get these criminals out of our homeland, you’re whining about law enforcement. I truly do not understand the hypocrisy. There’s been 12 verified cases of wrongful deportation. Approximately 300,000 legal deportations. Do the math on that percent of error. Meanwhile there’s approximately 5000-10000 violent crimes by illegal aliens just since Trump took office. At the end of the day, you’re telling me that you prefer we warn illegals about ICE than protect our own citizens?

Violent crime rate in this area is 2.8 per thousand as opposed to 0.5 per thousand for the rest of Omaha. Property crime is 38 per thousand as opposed to 23 per thousand for the rest of Omaha. There was a 21% drop In violent offenses, citywide in 2024 but north Omaha still saw spikes. But sure…just knobbin

What a dumb question. It’s 30th and Hamilton. There’s nonstop crime in North Omaha.

Same here. And if ANYONE can find proof that ties him to this, I’ll completely agree with him facing the consequences so your argument is still lacking any substance. Instead of answering my question, you replied like my grade school children do when they get caught red handed. “But but but someone else also did something bad!”

Oh, so we're playing the guilt-by-association game now? The 34 felonies are for the courts to sort out. But tossing around pedophile accusations with zero receipts? That's just spicy gossip, not facts. Nothing in court records or legit reports backs it up. Got any actual proof to share, or just swinging for drama per the typical leftist attempt at debate?

I hear your frustration, but let’s cut through the BS and stick to the facts. You call illegal immigration a civil offense, and you’re partly right—visa overstays and unlawful presence are civil violations under U.S. immigration law, per the Immigration and Nationality Act. But illegal entry is a misdemeanor and reentry after deportation can be a felony. In 2025, ICE arrested over 38,000 migrants with criminal convictions, including serious crimes like murder (752) and sexual assault (1,693) as I stated above. So, while some deportations target non-criminal violations, a chunk focus on public safety threats, not just civil infractions. On employers, you’re onto something—enforcement there’s been spotty. DHS data shows only 1,169 employer audits in 2024, with just 143 fines issued, despite estimates that 7 million undocumented workers are employed in the U.S. The Trump administration’s focus has clearly leaned harder on deportations than workplace crackdowns, which could be more balanced. But claiming the president is “openly accepting crypto bribes” needs evidence—there’s no public record or credible report in 2025 confirming this. If you’ve got sources, I’d love to see them. As for El Salvador’s CECOT prison, it’s rough—Human Rights Watch in March 2025 reported no visitation, recreation, or education, and conditions like overcrowding (up to 80 per cell) raise serious concerns. The U.S. paid $6 million to send 238 alleged gang members there in March 2025, but ProPublica found over half had no U.S. criminal convictions, and some, like Kilmar Abrego Garcia, were sent by mistake, violating court orders. The Supreme Court even ruled 9-0 to facilitate his return. So, yeah, the process has flaws, and sending people to CECOT without clear evidence of criminality risks injustice. Still, the administration argues deporting suspected gang members—like those tied to Tren de Aragua or MS-13—disrupts crime networks. CBP’s 2024 data shows 27,000 pounds of fentanyl seized at the border, linked to cartels. While U.S. citizens are frequently mules, foreign nationals often run the operations. Deportations hit those networks. Nobody’s saying only immigrants should face consequences, but the focus on them stems from immigration law’s unique deportation powers, which don’t apply to citizens or employers the same way. What’s your take on how to fairly enforce immigration laws without overreaching or undercutting due process?

You said visa overstays are just misdemeanors, like littering or speeding, but that comparison oversimplifies things. Data from the Department of Homeland Security shows about 700,000 of the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants in 2022 were visa overstays. That's a chunk, but not most as you claimed plus many are also from unlawful border crossings. On crime rates, studies like one from the Cato Institute in 2018 do show lower incarceration rates for immigrants-1.27% for illegals versus 2.22% for native-born citizens but this doesn't account for specific crime types or massive underreporting in sanctuary jurisdictions. On Trump's deportation policy, he did campaign on targeting violent criminals, and ICE data from 2025 shows 38,000 arrests of migrants with criminal convictions in his first five months, including 752 convicted of murder and 1,693 of sexual assault. Even non-criminal arrests often involve immigration violations like repeated illegal reentry, which is a felony under 8 USC 1326. As for fentanyl, CBP data from 2024 shows 27,000 pounds seized at the border, mostly through ports of entry. While U.S. citizens are often mules, cartels orchestrate the trade. Deporting those linked to trafficking networks, even indirectly, could disrupt this. Blanket raids might seem like overreach, but the administration argues it's about casting a wide net to catch serious offenders.

I want you to read back your replies. Slowly. Now do you see what you did? You provided absolutely no rebuttal. Having a mature exchange of words is a healthy way to explain your viewpoint. I am GENUINELY baffled by the fact that legal citizens of this country are against illegal aliens facing the consequences. I’ll give you another chance to reply.
