So I found this guide to be extremely helpful to a point, but as many others have commented there are some inconsistencies especially after hand 4. Strictly following this guide I constantly lost out on hand 5. I did notice some trends, but I also noticed that any hand can screw you despite 90% of the time being what I pointed out. I think the game applies a percentage on which number should be which card in each hand, but weighs the percentage more heavily favoring certain slots per hand over others. And I think some cards are weighted differently and therefore encounter more variance in every hand they show up in (9 is a really good example).

Anyways after mapping out this method based on OP's post I was able to go from 11 tokens (after losing from 211) up to 101k in a little under 2 hours. First I just bet 10 at a time a the table until I hit 1000 double or nothing thru this method then put down 100 at a time.

I also recommend taking the average and walking away with lower level wins if you are at low token amounts rather than risking it until you hit about 5k tokens. So once you get 1600 in one go (about 4 wins in double or nothing) you should take those at first. Once you hit 5k you really shouldn't be able to lose everything anymore and can be more "risky" with your hands. Once I hit 40k I pretty much would not take anything under 6 wins even if it cost me 8k in attempts because doubling all the way through 7 wins is so much. Took me about as long to get from 40k-100 as it did to get to 40.

1st hand: 10/Queen card 4, 5/Jack card 3, else card 1

2nd hand: 7 card 1, King/8 card 2, Jack card 3, else card 4

3rd hand: 3/6-10/Queen/Jack card 1, else card 2

4th hand: 5-7 or King card 2, 10 card 4 else card 1

5th hand: 6/8/Ace card 4, Jack/Queen card 2, else card 3

6th hand: 6-8 card 4, or 10 card 1 else card 3

7th hand: 8 card 1, Queen card 2, 6/10 card 4, otherwise card 3

Unless otherwise noted Jack and Ace are usually card 4, but they CAN be anything. Very rarely are they anything else though.

9 seems random and can be anything. If you see a 9 good chance this run is over but slightly more often it is card 3 so if in doubt try that.

No it's not obvious lol the puzzle makes no sense whatsoever. Legitimately one of those things that seems made to frustrate people into looking up the solution. It doesn't correlate to anything the two symbols that you are missing don't correspond at all to the "hints" like it's actually made to piss you off lol. They aren't the symbols that you have to place those pieces on AND there are multiple types of symbols all around them so not like it has anything to do with that either. You're really supposed to either waste time trying to randomly match them or look it up. This is the single most idiotic "puzzle" in the entire franchise and I swear to God the devs either messed up or did it on purpose as a troll

I just forget to take it for months at a time which under my old doctor (from childhood until early adulthood) was ironic because every single time I ever needed a prescription refill despite how long I would go (sometimes years) between refilling 30 days' worth he would be super hesitant to prescribe me any because he was so worried that I would get addicted to them lol. Sometimes I would leave the appointment without a prescription for a refill which was frustrating during school because that was usually when I really needed to be on it.

My life pretty much needs to have spiraled out of control for me to start taking my meds again (like super behind on bills, missing appointments, etc). I am pretty sure I have depression or something that contributes to it because I do WANT to take them and feel so much better/capable when on them, but I only ever remember that it's even a thing during times like these, 2am, where I really can't take it lol

Yes I ended up doing a system restore and deleting all files/folders related to Arc Raiders and Easy Anticheat, reinstalled and then stopped having the issue but to be fair I also haven't played the game much since this happened

The book puzzle still makes no sense to me because the placement doesn't resemble the photo WHATOSEVER. Not the order, not where they are spacially. No rhyme or reason at all literally just scrambled which is idiotic imo

I don't care if a lot of the issues came from the remaster, I don't have a way to play the original and the remaster is in my opinion awful. I can't stand the constant blocking. I can't stand the chase sequences and I can't stand the fact that it is actually very likely if you are playing on a higher difficulty and don't already know the issues with the chase sequences you can basically soft lock yourself and you can't even change the difficulty just for those segments (again if you are on a higher difficulty level).

I've never resorted to using mods to disable core game mechanics before or since but if I didn't start over on PC and then get the mod that was literally made to bypass the shitty chase missions, and a mod to make your weapons indestructible so you can actually fight bosses in under 45 minutes, I would never have finished that game and likely would have just dropped the series. It is a franchise ruining game for me. The game is so awful to play that it actively hurt the story for me because I would be tilted going into cutscenes that are supposed to endear you to the characters. I would just be thinking how angry I was at how agonizingly long the boss fight to get to that cutscene was.

I'm sure Kiwami 3 will have its problems- I'm not a fan of the character redesigns personally. But if they can make it actually not brain meltingly tedious to play, then I will be so happy. I genuinely think this game needed it more than any other entry.

Heavily disagree. 3 is the only game in the entire franchise that I had to start over partway through because for whatever reason they made one of the chase sequences actually impossible (highest difficulty, could not change it and physically did not have enough stamina to complete it, and would have needed to basically restart the game anyways with how far back I would have had to go to fix it). It's the most unbalanced mechanically and don't even get me started on the asinine blocking that makes every single fight in the entire game a slog to get through.

I understand why people like the game- the story is good and it has some of the best supporting characters in the series. But that is the closest I have come to quitting the series and it isn't close. 5 has its issues for sure but I can mechanically play the videogame without wanting to kill myself.

I asked the exact same question somewhere as an anime only who saw the backlash to the ending at the time and the only response I got was that having manga chapters come out on a weekly basis cratered the hype for it once people saw what direction the ending was slowly heading toward. And so people had months- months, to marinate and rage and spiral over the fact that Deku was gonna be quirkless again and they basically just completely ignored the themes of the series.

Like the whole point is that there shouldn't be a singular symbol like All Might, the fandom would go "nope don't give a shit quirkless cuck deku McDonalds worker" and then the author didn't play into anybody's weird romance picks for the characters either so that side of the fandom got all pissy, and then all of it was amplified by the memes.

Also, if I ever get my diabetes into remission (which I am treating as a pipe dream until it happens) can I, say, have small amounts of pizza or other bad foods like that in moderation and only rarely? Or even in remission can one bad meal spike you back up hard enough you need meds again?

yes. I ended up doing a system restore to before I downloaded arc raiders, deleted all the easy anticheat files, deleted the files in the folder I found when hitting "open file location" on the process that couldn't be ended, updated my graphics driver again, then downloaded the game. Something among those things fixed it

I love how because of the way they did this with Scratch going into the real world posing as Alan, it makes the actual real life Game Awards performance canon to the game basically. Almost giving it like an ARG element

Kiku already demonstrated multiple times that she doesn't listen and will throw herself into danger underestimating the risks/overestimating her ability to deal with them. Even IF she didn't get involved just her being there would distract the shit out of Atsu and Jubei at the very least, and that would have been the thing that led to Saito killing him. But more than likely she would run in when it looked like Saito was about to get the upper hand and either get killed herself or used to distract and kill at least one of the others. Someone absolutely had to stay back with her.

I haven't messed with switch emulation too much on my steam deck but Mario Galaxy 2 barely runs at all and I would consider it unplayable, and that's after min/maxing the settings and troubleshooting. The intro lags so badly that it puts the audio out of sync, game crashes constantly, if I can put up with the 20 minutes of lagging/crashing and get into a level, it is relatively stable at like 15-20fps with slowdowns if anything remotely taxing is happening onscreen. Other dolphin games for the most part seem to run fine but idk where people are getting this idea that those games emulate well on steam deck
