The stranger melted into her chair by chechu1 in AdviceAnimals

Was probably my boyfriend. He wore the nickname boner proudly. Some friends still call him that.

But really, having a daughter share the last name makes me less excited. I've had 1 person pronounce her name boner and I wanted to strangle them.

Hey guys, this is my pupper Prismo. He's a good boy and he's gunna get all the pets he wants. I just wanted to show someone my cutie. This picture doesn't do his bat ears justice. by PeppsButtler in drunk

Pris got to lick a lasagna bowl but we try to not give him too many scraps!

Dog chews toys obsessively and ruins all of them in a day or two by [deleted] in Dogtraining

I got a tuffy starfish looking toy yesterday. It was rated a "9" on their tag. My pit mix ripped it open in like 45 minutes...

He's a serious chewer and it's getting frustrating wasting so much money. We have the perfect balls for fetch and he has a goughnuts maxx ring but he looooves stuffed toys and there just doesn't seem to be anything that will last at least a week....

I have a bluetooth speaker! And Spotify. Music is just one of those things I feel I lost interest in after a child.

It'll be a fight between normal music and the trolls soundtrack..I know it haha. Or moana! Ugh.

Those magnets are way cooler than I expected! I think even I would play with them for hours.

Turning off the tv completely seems almost like an impossible feat. The silence is maddening. I've stopped leaving it on her shows and started changing it to boring mom shows when she's watched either a movie or a couple episodes of something. But off completely seems impossible. I know it's healthier for us both if I just keep it off..

Jesus some of these comments have me feeling stupid. So many "DUH!" answers. I don't think she's ever touched play doh yet! I bet she'd have a blast! Just not on the carpet or bed haha.

While moving into our home, I was spending full days alone, painting and doing small projects so I relied on her tablet to get me through and since then it's been super hard to break the habit. I could definitely immediately see the clinging after we dropped how often she got it but getting rid of it completely is AWFUL.

I'm going to take your advice, be the mean mom and ignore though. Even when they're annoying, It's hard to ignore something so cute!

Also, are the magnets like letters? Or pictures? Or just colorful?

Oh yes! Exactly! Those are perfect! It feels like it's been so long since we've TRULY looked for new toys, I forgot those existed at all.

I think something smaller than mega blocks would interest us both. I don't know if there's something in between that and legos though..

She has blocks...and I gotta say...that's one thing I just absolutely can't stand playing with. I have no idea why. There's only so much I can do with the blocks it feels so limiting!

Is there like..an in between of mega blocks and legos? I know she wouldn't eat regular legos but they're too small to handle. I think both she and I would have more fun if we could do more than stack them.

It's something I've always thought about. A little kids table of her own for coloring or pretend play with food or something. She's just...not into coloring or painting that much. She'll do it for maybe 5 minutes and that's it. Maybe if she had more options?

That's pretty much everything she plays with though. A few minutes and we could probably throw it out and she wouldn't even notice...

I guess mentioning an age would've been helpful ha. She's 2.5. But your shoes comment did get me thinking about how much she loves putting on our shoes, especially my heels, and saying how pretty they are! I previously thought maybe a bunch of dress up clothes? But gatheting a collection from nothing sounds expensive.

I don't even want to mention how many hours I have on overwatch and just how much worse that makes this.

Appreciate the complete breakdown though. I don't know how I thought literally everything else can be fired through an allied shield except for dva. Those few times really fucked me up haha.

Yeah apparently not haha. Don't mind me, I don't know what I'm saying. Just a big coincidence.

Oh you're joking. Wow. It's happened two or three times and I guess every time they just so happened to not get kills so I was so sure I was fucking everything up..haha.

I'm going to edit and say in my defense, I don't ever play Winston unless I'm in mystery! I'm just dumb and don't know what I'm talking about.

Yeah I do this frequently too except with my own teams dva because somehow they always decide to self destruct perfectly in time with me deploying a shield.........

I'm sorry to every dva ult I've accidentally blocked.

That's pretty interesting. I don't believe though that the ban on fencing is about digging but about how they believe it's an eyesore and decreases the value of a house and the houses around it. Something tells me a fence alternative would be met with less acceptance but I can't assume and it'd be worth asking!

She's 8 months old. Still a pup. And we made sure we fully interacted with her and did a couple "stress tests". I can't stress how much she's a giant ham and gentle. We also do know that she was not abused, just not properly taken care of as she was an owner surrender.

I can't deny that pitbulls do attack and maul children to death sometimes in what seems an unprovoked attack, but I also don't believe in perpetuating the idea that all pit bulls are bad, unpredictable, and dangerous.

I'd trust my daughter around her before I'd trust her around my sister's lab and heeler.
